MRI (Music Reports, Inc.), was started as a joint venture with the Television Music License Committee with the goal of providing reporting systems that would meet the newly created television per program license.  The vast majority of stations continue to use MRI for per program reporting under the ASCAP and BMI licenses and, more recently, the SESAC per program reports for the 2005-2007 reporting period. 

OTHER consultants, including the second most used per program reporting provider, W. G.  Slantz Company, provide music performance consulting at various levels.  It should be noted that Donald A. Jasko of Digital Economics, LLC, acted as SESAC's primary per program expert in its arbitration procedure with the TMLC client stations, testifying on behalf of SESAC and providing consulting for the development of its per program system.
